Shetland Islands is a group of about 100 islands in Scotland, 130 miles north of the Scottish mainland, at the northern extremity of the United Kingdom.
The scenery is wild and beautiful, with deeply indented coasts are something you have to see to believe with thousands of birds nesting on the cliff edges.
We got up early and went out for a bike ride across the island, when we had hit the other coast we dropped the bike and walked by the cliff edges just watching the incredible spectacle.
The shetland island is famous for its puffin colonies which I was very excited to see however we had just come a week or so late for the puffins.
Instead we were met with thousands of Razorbill, Shags, Oystercatchers and Gannets.
It was incredible to see.
